41. I currently have two cats.
42. Tobiano (Tobi) is the eldest. She loves admiring herself in reflective surfaces.
43. Emma is the youngest. She’s a paranoid conspiracy theorist.
44. I have one horse.
45. Her name is Night Wing and she’s currently retired from three-day eventing.
46. I’m hoping to eventually come out of “retirement” myself.
47. I have Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.
48. With secondary Sjögren’s Syndrome.
49. And Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis with intermittent Hashitoxicosis.
50. And the occasional bout of IgA nephropathy.
51. All of the conditions I just mentioned are part of a fracked up, overactive immune system.
52. I also get migraines.
53. Calgary is the migraine capital of the world (Mecca for neurologists).
54. I currently live in Calgary.
55. I think I should consider moving someplace else.
56. I have astigmatism in both of my eyes.
57. 3-D glasses don’t work when you’re astigmatic.
58. I’m also an insomniac.
59. When I do sleep, I’m very prone to nightmares.
60. I like having nightmares… they give me ideas for my stories and films.

Bizarre X-Rays

This X-ray is of a boy who swallowed magnetic pieces of a block one at a time. When they hit his stomach, apparently they reconnected.

I’m curious… assuming they had to operate to remove the block, do you think the surgical instruments ever got stuck to the magnetic pieces of the block?
