I am The Great Kate!
I found this “Great Dames” quiz thanks to Inner Dialogues. Don’t hate me for my results lattegirl!
Your Score: Katharine Hepburn
You scored 11% grit, 28% wit, 52% flair, and 14% class!

You are the fabulously quirky and independent woman of character. You go your own way, follow your own drummer, take your own lead. You stand head and shoulders next to your partner, but you are perfectly willing and able to stand alone. Others might be more classically beautiful or conventionally woman-like, but you possess a more fundamental common sense and off-kilter charm, making interesting men fall at your feet. You can pick them up or leave them there as you see fit. You share the screen with the likes of Spencer Tracy and Cary Grant, thinking men who like strong women.

I Think We’re Dead
Police Officer bakes marijuana brownies then calls 911 and says “I think we are dying”:
I can’t get the casket into the Taxi!
A practical joke that’s actually worth watching:
Not Ecoterrorism… EcoTOURism
You learn something new every day… if you’re not careful! What did I learn today? I learned about Ecotourism. Can you say Ecotourism, boys and girls? Good… I knew you could.
So what the heck is Ecotourism? According to Wikipedia, it’s a form of tourism which aims to be ecologically and socially conscious. As a former Greepeace activist and Green Party candidate, I definitely support that idea.
And what better way to support that idea than renting a Kihei oceanfront condo in Maui, built with special care to have the least impact possible on the precious local land and wildlife? Isn’t it great when you can justify the things that you want to do with things that are good to do? So whaddya say we escape to Maui and do a little whalewatching?

How Will I Die Quiz
You will die at the age of 104 You will die in a freak accident with a banana |
The quiz itself isn’t spectacular, but I kinda liked the result so I decided to post it anyway.
FYI
I now have three new niche blogs. Why create new blogs when you already seem to have problems keeping your current blogs up to date? You may be asking (or maybe not, but I’ll answer anyway). I’ve discovered that it’s a lot easier to keep up with them all if they’re all on the same blogging platform. (Sorry WordPress, but I think I’ve been a Blogger grrl for too long.) Plus, I think my game posts and my writing posts are not so interesting to my regular readers, so they seemed like naturals for a niche blog. And I write sooo much about music that I think it deserves a blog of its own!
Anyway, the new blogs are:
Music Musings: where I indulge my passion for music.
Inner Game Geek: where I talk about time well wasted.
Weirdgrrl’s Words: where I muse about writing and language and related topics.
Check ‘em out. Let me know what you think!
Holy Kryptonite, Superman!
The substance famous for sapping the power from Superman has been discovered in a Serbian mine. Mining researchers discovered the unusual mineral and enlisted the help of Dr. Chris Stanley, a mineralogist at London’s Natural History Museum, to identify it. Dr. Stanley analyzed the chemical make up and discovered it was the same formula referenced in the Superman tales. Dr. Stanley said, “I’m afraid it’s not green and it doesn’t glow either… although it will react to ultraviolet light by fluorescing a pinkish-orange.” For more information, check out the BBC article.
